Valami készül... / Something is in progress...

Eső után / After rain

Vége a nyárnak...

***
First I thought I would show the English plates from the flea market that cost less than one plastic pot saucer...
Then it wasn't important anymore. I wiped a place on the bench to sit down for a minute on the pond platform and I wiped another one for the camera. The scent of the rain was different. Different the scent of the tired summer flowers, the pond, the wet planks...the shades are also different. The summer is over...

Tea-házak / Tea Houses

Először jött ez a fűszeres polc a piacról, amit fehérre festettem.

***
First came this spice shelf from the marketthat I painted in white.

Több helyre is elképzeltem...a varrósarokba, a konyhába, vagy a gyerekszobába.

***
I imagined it to many places...into the sewing corner, the kitchen or the child room

***
For now it remains in the dining room and I place the tin teabox houses on it.

Ezekhez a kedves, néha vicces dobozokhoz mind kellemes emlék fűződik.

***
All of these cute, sometimes funny boxes represent pleasant memories. For instance we bought these four in London 15 years ago.

A többit (nincs is itt mind a polcon) innen-onnan szedegettem össze és Albert favonatos terepasztalát díszítették....ez is szép emlék lett...a favonatozós korszak, még a dinoszaurusz korszak előtt :)

***
The others (not each one on the shelf) were found here and there, and decorated Albert's wooden train table...which is also a good memory...the wooden train times, well before the dinosaur era:)

 Megőrizzük mindet.

***
We'll keep'em all.

***
Simple, fast, charming :)
Take a nice little porcelain pot or cup...I had this small tea pot free. Its cap is missing therefore I could get it for 30 cents on a flea market in Austria.

A felsőbe, ami látszani fog, tömőanyag kerül.

***
Cut two textile circles, fill rice into one ofe them, this will be the bottom part. Put filling material into the upper piece that will be visible.

Vékony madzagot kötöttem rá és a közepére varrtam a kis selyem rózsát.

***
I tied a thin thread on it and sewed a tiny silk rose into the middle.

***
Here the two small bags are already bound together.
The lower rice bag is heavier thus pulling the upper one into the porcelain pot.

És kész :)

And finished :)

Fehér szépségek / White Beauties

A hosszú hétvégén volt időm kicsit rendezgetni a porcelánokat. Most a fehér és világos színek voltak soron.

***
During the long weekend I had time to arrange the porcelain. Now the white and light colours were next in line. From these treasures only the leaf patterned candle holders are new that we received from American friends in a Christmas package. All others were found in antique shops, in the internet or on flea markets.

***
Many times I took them home in very dirty, woeful state. There are also sets among them but otherwise they are all different kinds, still beautiful together. Made in various countries with various history. I bought some for 10 cents on a market, others are saucers from Hollohaza for 15 cents.

Szeretem. A porcelánokat is, meg a kincskeresést is :)

I love it. Porcelain and treasure hunt :)
